For the 16th year, the International Art Film Fest will be held in the Slovak spa resort, Trenčianske Teplice, and the city of Trenčín. 

The Art Film Fest strives to bring the latest film production and world cinematography directly to the heart of Central Europe - to audiences in Slovakia. Not only does it seek to introduce new, talented filmmakers and the latest trends in world cinematography but also, in the Panorama Section, it presents masterpieces of renowned directors. The organizers´ goal is also to map the development of the film industry in Central and Eastern European.  In the Short Film Competition, works by young filmmakers as well as interesting documentaries are shown.  And because no film festival would make any sense without an audience, everyone is invited to come and experience the unique atmosphere at the Art Film Fest.
